House of Fraser offers two-hour delivery slots for newlyweds

House of Fraser is offering two-hour weekday delivery time slots and am/pm Saturday deliveries to customers of its wedding list service.

It is using CitySprint for the operation, having started working with this carrier a year ago. Since then, CitySprint is said to have delivered 90,000 gifts to 1,500 couples.

CitySprint is steadily building up a reputation for its ability to offer same-day and timed home shopping deliveries. At a time when DPD has seized the limelight with its one-hour delivery service, CitySprint is clearly keen to remind people that there are other convincing contenders out there too.

House of Fraser has 62 retail locations in the UK and Ireland, and employs 6,500 staff. Its turnover is £1.25 billion.
